Destination wedding and celebration planning.

A wedding or celebration somewhere you love, planned from our studio in Los Angeles and run by us on the day, wherever it takes place.

Celebrating away from home.

A destination celebration takes more planning than most, partly because you can't drop by the venue on a free afternoon. We keep every booking, guest detail and design choice in one place and answer your questions from the first call onward.

The design begins with the place. Its light and its local flowers shape the palette, so the celebration looks as if it belongs where it happens.

How we plan it from Los Angeles.

Most of the work happens before anyone travels. We research venues and vendors at the destination, talk them over with you on calls and in shared notes, and narrow the list together.

Guests need more from a trip like this than a date and an address. We help plan where they'll stay, how they'll arrive and what the days around the main event hold, so a long journey feels worth making.

When it's time to travel, we arrive ahead of the celebration to meet the vendors and oversee setup, then run the day itself.

What destination planning covers.

Everything a celebration at home needs, plus the travel and timing that come with going somewhere new.

  • Choosing the place

If you have a region in mind but no venue, we look with you and compare each option for access, weather and the size of your group.

  • Local vendors

Florists, caterers, photographers and musicians at the destination, vetted before we recommend them and briefed to work as one team.

  • Travel and accommodation

Guidance on rooms, transport and arrival times for you and your guests, written up as clear details they can plan around.

  • Design for the setting

A palette, florals and table settings drawn from the location, so the design and its surroundings sit comfortably together.

  • Several days, one schedule

If your celebration runs across a few days, we plan the welcome gathering, the main event and the farewell as a single itinerary.

  • A budget that includes the travel

Local costs and travel costs live in the same budget, so you can see where everything stands at any point.

  • Running the celebration

We are on site from setup to the last guest, handling the schedule and the vendors while you enjoy being there.

How destination planning runs.

A celebration far from home usually needs more lead time than one in your own city.

  1. Your inquiry

Choose destination celebration on the inquiry form and tell us where you'd like to go, even if all you have so far is a region.

  2. Getting to know you

We get in touch to hear your story, who's traveling with you and how you want the days to feel.

  3. The proposal

We set out what we'll arrange at home and at the destination, with a first design direction. Once you're happy with it, the planning starts.

  4. Planning at a distance

Over the following months the venue, vendors, guest travel and design come together through regular calls and one shared plan.

  5. Traveling and celebrating

We arrive early, walk through every detail with the vendors and run the celebration, so your time goes to your guests.

Who destination planning suits.

Hosts who would like their guests to travel for the occasion.

  • The place means something to you.

Where you met, a family home, or a country you've long wanted to share with the people closest to you.

  • You're marking a milestone.

Milestone birthdays, anniversaries and other gatherings travel well, and we plan them with the same attention as a wedding.

  • You want a smaller, longer celebration.

Destination celebrations tend to have fewer guests and last longer, often a few days. We plan each of those days alongside the main event.

  • You'd rather not manage it from afar.

Time zones, unfamiliar vendors and travel arrangements add up quickly. We take them on so planning from home stays calm.

Questions about destination celebrations.

Some common questions about planning from afar.

Where can you plan a destination celebration?

Wherever you'd like to go, within the United States or abroad. Name the place in your inquiry, and we'll talk about what planning there would involve.

Do you travel to the celebration?

Yes. We're there for the final preparations and for the celebration itself, and our travel is set out in the proposal.

How early should we start?

Earlier than you would for a celebration at home. Sought-after venues book well in advance, and guests need time to arrange their trip. If your date is near, tell us and we will say plainly what can still be arranged.

Can you help with our guests' travel?

We help you plan rooms, transport and the timing of arrivals, and we give your guests clear details to work from. Guests generally book their own flights.

How is destination planning priced?

We quote each celebration once we know the place, the guest count and how many days it spans. The budget range you share in your inquiry helps us shape the proposal.
