Partial event planning in Los Angeles.
Your celebration is already taking shape. We take on the parts you'd rather hand over and make them fit with everything you've decided so far.

Help with the parts you choose.
Partial planning is for celebrations that already have some shape: a date, perhaps a venue, a vendor or two booked. You keep what's working, and we carry the parts you'd like help with.
We learn the whole celebration before taking on any part of it, so what we add sits comfortably beside what you've already chosen.

Stepping in partway through.
Maybe the venue is booked and the vendor list is still thin, or the vendors are set and no one has worked out how guests will move through the day. Sometimes work or family simply takes over the time you meant for planning.
We start by getting up to speed on what's booked, what's decided and what's still open. Then we agree on our part in writing, so you know what we're carrying and what stays with you.
From there, we handle those pieces the way we would in full planning. We make the calls and the follow-ups, and we bring you the decisions that are yours to make.

What we can take on.
Choose any of these, or tell us what's weighing on you and we'll suggest where to begin.
Vendor curation
Finding the florist, caterer, musicians or photographer you still need, and making sure they suit the vendors you've already booked.
A look at your plans so far
We read through your bookings and schedule to spot gaps, overlaps or timing that won't work, while there's still room to fix them.
Design and creative direction
If the look hasn't come together yet, we build the palette and the details around what you've already chosen.
The guest experience
Arrivals, seating, how the day moves from one moment to the next, and the small comforts guests notice without being told.
The timeline
A schedule for the day, built from what is already in place and shared with your vendors so everyone keeps to it.
Budget check-ins
Help keeping the spending that's left within the range you've set, so you always know how much room is left.
How partial planning works.
Because you've already begun, the first step is catching up on everything you've decided.
-
Your inquiry
Choose help with select parts of the planning, then tell us what is booked and what still feels open. Whatever you know so far is enough.
-
Catching up
We talk through your plans, hear the story behind the celebration and learn which parts you would like to hand over.
-
Our part, agreed
A proposal sets out what we'll take on and how we'll work alongside you and your vendors. When you're happy with it, we start.
-
The work
We handle the pieces we agreed on, keeping you informed and bringing you choices whenever a decision belongs to you.
-
The day
Everything we took on is ready when the day comes. Whether we're there on the day is set out in the proposal with the rest of our part.
Wherever you are in the planning, we can start from there.
Who partial planning is for.
It suits clients who have made a start and want help with the parts that remain.
You've booked the big pieces.
The date and venue are set, maybe the caterer too. What remains needs more time than you have to give it.
One part keeps getting stuck.
Whether it's the design, the vendors or the flow of the day, we can take on that one part and leave the rest with you.
Your plans have changed.
A new date, a different venue or a longer guest list can unsettle what you had arranged. We help you rework it.
You enjoy doing some of it yourself.
Keep the parts of the planning you like. We'll take the others and make sure the two halves meet.
How partial planning compares.
Our four services differ in how much of the celebration we carry.
-
For celebrations starting from the very beginning, with every part held by us.

The palette, florals, tables, paper and light on their own, when the planning is in other hands.

Questions about partial planning.
A few things people ask when they're already partway through.
Is it too late to bring in a planner?
Usually not. Tell us your date and what's still open, and we'll be honest about what we can take on in the time there is.
Will you work with the vendors we've already booked?
Yes. We get to know them, share the plan with them and bring them into the team, so you keep the people you chose.
How do we decide which parts to hand over?
Start with whatever is taking the most time or causing the most worry. If you're not sure, say so in your inquiry and we'll suggest where we'd help most.
How is partial planning priced?
It depends on which parts we take on and how much of the celebration they cover, so we quote once we've caught up on your plans. The budget range in your inquiry helps us shape it.
What if we need more help later?
Tell us when you do, and we'll talk about what more we can take on.
Celebrations we join partway through.
Any of these can be picked up after the planning has begun.
Let's pick it up from here.
Tell us where your plans stand and what you'd like help with, and we'll talk through how we could step in.
